MoU signing ceremony between the National University of Civil Engineering and Eight-Japan Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Incorporation

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang – Head of the NUCE Department of International Cooperation introduced briefly the history of establishment and development of the University. Mr. Kazumasa Masukawa – Director of the Department of International Relations of Eight-Japan said that Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Incorporation specializes in design, consultancy, supervision and construction of roads and bridges, river and sea ports, urban planning, regional planning, environmental planning, etc. The Incorporation has just explored the Vietnamese market for a few years and recently participated in a design competition for a bridge over the Han river organized by the City People’s Committee of Danang. Today, the Corporation is seeking the opportunities to work with Danang city and other cities/provinces in Vietnam. Knowing that the NUCE is a top-ranking university in Vietnam in civil engineering and has experience in urban planning, Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Incorporation would like to cooperate with the NUCE in the future in such projects as the Incorporation has particularly expertise, including science and technology transfer and well-qualified staff training. 

Then, the NUCE Vice Rector and the Vice Chairman of Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Incorporation signed an MoU. This signing ceremony marked a milestone in a long-term and fruitful cooperation between the NUCE and Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Incorporation.
