Typical products

Many of the research projects done at the National University of Civil Engineering have brought scientific – technological products with numerous useful and practical applications. Here are a number of typical scientific and technological products in recent times.

  • Two-side hollow bearing floor system Cdeck created on the basis of improvements of the Bubbledeck floor system;

  • Washing-blowing and pipe tip cement grouting technology to increase the load bearing ability of the pile tip;
  • Research and manufacturing of monitoring equipment system and control of sand piling, sand wells;
  • Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymers bar (GFRP) that is resistant to corrosion, used for coastal works;
  • Ultra high quality concrete (UHPC) with good workability, self leveling, level of resistance to compression is 1500-2000 kg / cm2;
  • Semi-hard plastic concrete for load-bearing areas such as industrial floors, roads, bus stations with heavy traffic ...;
  • Slow retarding additives creating textured surface for cement concrete pavement, increasing the roughness and aesthetics for walkway’s surface;
  • The ready-mixed grout materials, with medium and very high level of resistance to compression (120MPa) for waterproofing, repair;
  • Insulating Ceramics: r = 800900 kg / m3; Rn = 3035 kg / cm2; Hp> 15%; Temperature use: 9001000oC; thermal stability> 15 thermal vibration cycles;
  • Identify technical and economic feasibility study for the construction of the deep sea waters of Vietnam;
  • Patent for "System and process of waste water treatment in combined aerobic areas" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh issued by the Department of Intellectual Property on August 21st, 2011;
  • Patent for "air-foam nozzle technology used in Flotations" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh  issued by the Department of Intellectual Property on October 26th, 2012
  • Patent for "Self-propelled concrete curb casting machine" by Dr. Luu Duc Thach, issued on May 12th , 2014 by the Department of Intellectual Property;
  • Patent for an industrial design for "solid waste incinerator BD-ALPHA" by Master Dam Thi Lan, issued on September 18th, 2013 by the Department of Intellectual Property.
